Example Definitions of "Accumulated Shares"
Accumulated Shares. For a given day, the sum of (i) one (1) share and (ii) a cumulative number of shares of the company's common stock purchased with dividends declared on a company's stock, assuming same day reinvestment of the dividends into shares of the common stock of a company at the closing price on the ex-dividend date, for ex-dividend dates during the Opening Average Period or for the period between December 31, 2010 and the last day of the Closing Average Period, as the case may be.
Accumulated Shares. For a given day, and for the Company or a given Peer Company, the sum of (i) one share of common stock of the applicable company, plus (ii) a cumulative number of shares of common stock purchased with dividends declared on the common stock, assuming same day reinvestment of the dividends into shares of common stock at the closing price on the ex-dividend date, for ex-dividend dates during the applicable Performance Period or Opening Average Period, as applicable
