CAPABILITY PERIOD

CAPABILITY PERIOD. Shall mean six-month periods which are established as follows: (1) from May 1 through October 31 of each year (Summer Capability Period); and (2) from November 1 of each year through April 30 of the following year (Winter Capability Period), as defined in Section 2.17 of the NYISO Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff, as amended or superseded from time to time.
