Card Manufacturing Technology. Means, collectively, photographic emulsion technology for making the read/write media ultimately encapsulated in the OMCs from photomasks and film using specialty process chemistry and master loops, first and second pass lamination using ebeam roll process (and not sheet process), die-cutting and edge-sealing card finishing technology, and any and all other methods, processes, technology, know-how, data and information and all Intellectual Property Rights, owned or controlled by DTC, relating... to all of the foregoing necessary or useful in the manufacture of OMCs other than the know-how to design and make photomasks. The portion of the Card Manufacturing Technology for making the media is referred to as "Media Production Technology" and the portion of the Card Manufacturing Technology for encapsulating the media into and finishing the OMC's is referred to as "Card Assembly Technology".
