Clinical Services

Clinical Services. Shall mean clinical trial management, monitoring, data management, biostatistics, medical, regulatory and other related services performed under contract for an entity which is testing a pharmaceutical product for the purpose of obtaining either regulatory approval to conduct human clinical trials or regulatory approval of the sale of such product. Clinical Services does not include (i) basic research and development activities in drug discovery, or (ii) diagnostic laboratory services.
