Comparable Position

Comparable Position. A position, whether as an employee, independent contractor or consultant, with a similar title, duties, responsibilities, reporting relationships and compensation (including benefits under this Plan) as the Eligible Employee's position as of the Effective Date, at a geographic location within thirty (30) miles of his/her workplace as of the Effective Date.

Comparable Position. Means, with respect to each employee, a job: (i) with the opportunity to earn Equivalent Compensation; (ii) with the same or substantially similar job title; (iii) with the same or substantially similar benefits as those received by such employee, as the case may be, as of the Closing Date; (iv) within a 25-mile radius (unless otherwise agreed by such employee) of such employee's place of employment as of the Closing Date; and (v) with Buyer or any of its direct or indirect subsidiaries,... affiliates or franchisees. Comparable Position. A position with the successor to the business of the Company, General Motors Corporation or its affiliates, of relatively equal or greater scope of responsibility and authority, equal or greater base compensation, equal or greater aggregate incentive compensation payout targets, and equal or greater aggregate benefits and perquisites, as constituted immediately prior to the Change in Control and located within 50 miles of the Executive's then current principal place of employment.

Comparable Position. Comparable Position means a position where: (a) the primary work location is within 50 miles of Participant's primary work location prior to the Qualifying Involuntary Separation, and (b) the compensation rate (salary and target bonus) is not more than 10% below Participant's compensation rate at the time of the Qualifying Involuntary Separation.

Comparable Position. Means a position which (A) requires skills and knowledge similar to those required in the Covered Employee's position immediately prior to the Change in Control and (B) involves a work schedule that is substantially similar to the work schedule followed by the Covered Employee immediately prior to the Change in Control.
