Example Definitions of "Contractor"
Contractor. The organization identified as the contractor/offeror on the Standard Form 1449 and its employees who are performing research under the contract. The contractor is responsible for overall performance under the contract even though its Principal Investigator has a significant responsibility for the research work.
Contractor. A third party hired by Customer to perform services on behalf of and for the benefit of Customer who gains access to Software and/or Source Materials
