Example Definitions of "Controlling Interest"
Controlling Interest. (i) 51 percent or more of the ownership interests in an entity, or (ii) a percentage ownership interest in an entity of less than 51 percent, if the owner(s) of that interest actually direct(s) the business and affairs of the entity without the requirement of consent of any other party. The Controlling Interest shall be deemed to be 51 percent unless otherwise stated in Exhibit B.

Controlling Interest. Shall mean beneficial ownership, directly or indirectly, of securities of ACC representing more than 50% of the voting power of ACC's then outstanding securities.
Controlling Interest. In an entity means beneficial ownership of more than fifty percent (50%) of the equity securities representing more than fifty percent (50%) of the voting power of the outstanding equity securities of the entity.
Controlling Interest. In relation to a person, means the ownership by that person and his or its Affiliates of Shares carrying the right to more than fifty percent (50%) of the total number of votes which may be cast at a general meeting of the shareholders of the Company.
