Cumulative Performance. The term 'Cumulative Performance' means, as to ACE Limited or the Peer Companies, the growth in tangible book value per common shares outstanding as reported under GAAP for ACE Limited or the Peer Companies during the Four-Year Performance Measurement Period beginning on the Commencement Date and ending on the fourth anniversary of the Commencement Date.
