Economic Value Added. Or "EVA" means the NOPAT that remains after subtracting the product of the Threshold Rate of Return multiplied by the Investment Amount, expressed as follows: EVA = NOPAT - [Threshold Rate of Return x Investment Amount] EVA may be positive or negative.
