Example Definitions of "Foreign Plan"
Foreign Plan. Means a substantially similar plan as this Plan for Employees resident outside the United States which the Board may implement at such time as it deems necessary.
Foreign Plan. Means every plan, fund, contract, program and arrangement (whether written or not) which is maintained or contributed to by Target or an ERISA Affiliate for the benefit of present or former employees working outside of the United States or with respect to which Target or an ERISA Affiliate otherwise has current or potential liability for such current or former employees. Foreign Plan may include plans that also benefit United States employees and include any arrangement intended to provide: (i)... medical, surgical, health care, hospitalization, dental, vision, workers compensation, life insurance, death, disability, legal services, severance, sickness, or accident benefits; (ii) pension, profit sharing, retirement, supplemental retirement or deferred compensation benefits; (iii) bonus, incentive compensation, stock option, stock appreciation rights, phantom stock or stock purchase benefits, change in control benefits; or (iv) salary continuation, unemployment, supplemental unemployment, termination pay, vacation or holiday benefits.
