Example Definitions of "Index Return"
Index Return. The total shareholder return reported on the MSCI US REIT Index for the Measurement Period, expressed as a percentage.
Index Return. With respect to the Performance Period, the return of the Index over the Performance Period expressed as a percentage. For the avoidance of doubt, the intent of the Committee is that Index Return over the Performance Period be calculated in a manner designed to produce a fair comparison between the Company's Total Shareholder Return and the Index Return for the purpose of determining Relative Performance and therefore calculating the earned portion of the Relative TSR Component.
