Example Definitions of "Insolvency Laws"
Insolvency Laws. Means the United States Bankruptcy Code, 11 U.S.C. Section 101, et seq., together with any other federal or state law affecting debtor and creditor rights or relating to the bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, arrangement, moratorium, readjustment of debt, dissolution, liquidation or similar laws, proceedings, or equitable principles affecting the enforcement of creditors' rights, as amended from time to time.
Insolvency Laws. (i) The U.S. Bankruptcy Code, (ii) any successor to such statute, (iii) any statute dealing with the reorganization or liquidation of debtors, and (iv) any other applicable insolvency or other similar law of any jurisdiction including, without limitation, any law of any jurisdiction permitting a debtor to obtain a stay or a compromise of the claims of its creditors against it.
