Internal Compliance Audit

Internal Compliance Audit. LHC's internal home health medical record compliance audits are conducted by the Compliance Department. LHC audits by provider number. Provider numbers may or may not be used by multiple home health facilities. The Compliance Department reviews at least 30 random closed and paid claims and associated medical records per provider number. Every LHC home health provider number undergoes an Internal Compliance Audit at least once every 24 months.
