Letter Ruling

Letter Ruling. Means the advance letter ruling expected to be issued by the IRS to Luminent setting forth certain Federal Income Tax consequences of the Separation, and any supplemental or additional letter rulings that may be issued by the IRS to any of the Parties or their Affiliates with respect to the Separation or any part thereof in response to a ruling request by Luminent or MRV.
