Major Release

Major Release. Means any additional or replacement code or Documentation for the Software provided by Active Software that adds major new capabilities or functionality and that is designated by Active, in its sole discretion, as a new Major Release of the Software. Major Release. The term "Major Release" shall mean Software version numbers that differ in the number to the left of the first decimal place and/or differ in the number immediately to the right of the first decimal place. For example, versions 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, and 7.1, and 7.2 are all considered Major Releases.

Major Release. Shall mean a new version of the Licensed Product subsequent to the initial delivery in which Philips has incorporated one or more new functions, features or new technology of the Licensed Product developed by Philips and which provides a new capacity which the previous releases or versions of the Licensed Product did not have, together with new or revised Documentation which properly describes the upgraded Licensed Product and which is identified by a change in the release designation (e.g.

Major Release. Means a new release of Software supported by Supplier that adds features and functionality improving overall Product performance, efficiency and/or usability, and designated by Supplier as a replacement for a Product.

Major Release. A new version of a software offering made generally available to the public where the version number of such software offering reflects an increase from the previous version number in the digit to the left of the first decimal point (for example from 1.xx to 2.xx).
