Maximum Legal Rate. Shall mean the maximum nonusurious interest rate, if any, that at any time or from time to time be contracted for, taken, reserved, charged or received on the indebtedness evidenced hereby and as provided for herein under the laws of such state or states whose laws are held by any court of competent jurisdiction to govern the interest rate provisions of the Loan.
Maximum Legal Rate. Shall mean the highest legal non-usurious interest rate permissible by law from time to time under the laws of the State of Texas or the federal laws of the United States, or the laws of an applicable foreign jurisdiction in the case of non-U.S. companies, as the case may be, whichever applicable laws allow the highest rate of interest to be charged on all amounts due under this Note.
