NYU Patents

NYU Patents. Shall mean all rights arising out of or resulting from (i) any and all U.S. and foreign patent applications covering the NYU Know-How including, without limitation, the Pre-Existing Patent Applications, (ii) the patents proceeding from such 3 applications, (iii) all claims of and any divisions, continuations, in whole or in part, reissues, re-examinations, renewals and extensions of any such patents or patent applications.

NYU Patents. Intellectual Property Rights which claim the Pre-Existing Inventions and Improvements; provided that with respect to patent applications, reasonable efforts are being made to prosecute such applications and such applications have not been pending for more than [***] from the date of the [***], provided further that such patent applications which have been pending for more than [***] shall again be considered NYU Patents upon allowance of claims in such patent applications.
