Operating Income

Operating Income. Means the Company's or a business unit's income from operations determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Operating Income. The Company's operating income for fiscal 2017, excluding (1) share based compensation, (2) acquisition-related costs and/or the impact of any completed acquisition, (3) patent/IP related litigation costs, (4) purchased intellectual property and (5) any adjustments as deemed necessary by the Committee for 2017.

Operating Income. The Company's operating income for fiscal 2013, excluding (1) share based compensation, (2) acquisition-related costs , (3) patent/IP related litigation costs and (4) any adjustments as deemed necessary by the Committee for 2013.

Operating Income. Means as to any Performance Period, the Company's or a business unit's income from operations but excluding any unusual items.

Operating Income. The Company's Operating Income as reported in the Company's financial statements filed with Securities and Exchange Commission in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures consistently applied ("GAAP")

Operating Income. Means the reported net income applicable to the Company's common stockholders excluding reported (i) extraordinary gains or losses or as a result of changes in accounting principles, (ii) restructuring, merger-related or restructuring-related charges, and (iii) similar one-time accounting or operational charges.

Operating Income. Shall mean the net operating income, if any, of the Company for a fiscal year, prior to the recognition of any extraordinary items of income or expense, as determined by the Company's independent auditors in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Operating Income. Means as to any Performance Period, the Company's or a business unit's income from operations determined in accordance with U.S. GAAP, adjusted for any Excluded Items approved for exclusion by the Administrator.

Operating Income. The Company's operating income for 2007, excluding (1) share based compensation, (2) acquisition-related amortization, (3) variable compensation expenses pursuant to the Plan, and (4) any adjustments as deemed necessary by the Committee for 2007.

Operating Income. Means as to any Performance Period, the Company's operating income, determined in accordance with GAAP or such other basis determined by the Committee.
