Example Definitions of "Population"
Population. All Items for which LifePoint has submitted a code or line item and for which LifePoint has received reimbursement from the Medicare program (i.e., a Paid Claim) during the six-month period covered by the DRG or Laboratory Claims Review. To be included in the Population, an Item must have resulted in at least one Paid Claim.
Population. The Population shall be defined as all Paid Claims for Group 2 and Group 3 pressure reducing support surfaces during the 12-month period covered by the Claims Review.
