Proprietary Rights

Proprietary Rights. Proprietary Rights. Means patents, registered or common law trademarks, service marks, trade names, registered or common law copyrights, licenses, and other similar rights (including, without limitation, know-how, trade secrets, and other confidential information) and applications for each of the foregoing.

Proprietary Rights. Proprietary Rights. Shall mean, in any country, (i) the right to file patent applications and any rights under patent applications; (ii) rights under a grant of letters patent or any similar form of statutory protection for inventions, such as utility model protection and industrial design protection; (iii) rights under copyright, trade secret, mask work or trademark law; and (iv) any other protectable intellectual property rights.

Proprietary Rights. Shall mean all rights held by a party in that party's products, services and programs and confidential information, including, without limitation, copyrights, CORPORATION's rights, trademarks, service marks, patent rights, trade names, know-how and trade secrets, software source codes and proprietary algorithms irrespective of whether such rights arise under U.S. intellectual property, unfair competition or trade secret laws.
