Example Definitions of "Prosecution and Maintenance"
Prosecution and Maintenance. (including variations such as "Prosecute and Maintain") shall mean, with respect to particular Patent Rights, the preparing, filing, prosecuting and maintenance of such Patent Rights, as well as continuations, divisionals, re-examinations, reissues and requests for patent term extensions and the like with respect to such Patent Rights, together with the conduct and defense of interferences, inter partes reviews, oppositions and other similar proceedings with respect to such Patent Rights.
Prosecution and Maintenance. With respect to a Patent Right, the preparing, filing, and prosecuting of patent applications and maintenance of patents, as well as re-examinations, and reissues, with respect to such patents; and "Prosecute and Maintain" have the correlative meaning.
