SAR Value

Example Definitions of "SAR Value"
SAR Value. An amount equal to the excess, if any, of the Settlement Price over the Grant Price, multiplied by the number of SARs with respect to which the SAR Award is being settled
SAR Value. The excess of the Fair Market Value of one share of Common Stock over the exercise price per share specified in a related Stock Option in the case of a Stock Appreciation Right granted in tandem with a Stock Option and the Stock Appreciation Right price per share in the case of a Stock Appreciation Right awarded on a free-standing basis multiplied by the number of shares in respect of which the Stock Appreciation Right shall be exercised, on the date of exercise
SAR Value. With respect to any particular Stock Appreciation Right, the value of a share of Stock as stated in the SAR Agreement, which may equal the Fair Market Value of a share of Stock, the book value of a share of Stock, or such other amount determined by the Committee
SAR Value. The excess of the Fair Market Value (on the exercise date) over the exercise price that the participant would have otherwise had to pay to exercise the related Stock Option, multiplied by the number of shares for which the Stock Appreciation Right is exercised.
