Separates from Service. Employee's separation from service with the Corporation as a result of death, retirement, or any other reason, except that for purposes of this Section 2.16 the employment relationship is treated as continuing intact while Employee is on military leave, sick leave, or other bona fide leave of absence if the period of such leave does not exceed six months, or if longer, so long as Employee retains a right to reemployment with the Corporation under an applicable statute or by contract. For... purposes of this Section 2.16 a leave of absence constitutes a bona fide leave of absence only if there is a reasonable expectation that Employee will return to perform services for the Corporation.
