SYSTEM CONTROL SEGMENT. The various ground-based sites, equipment and facilities used to manage and control the individual space vehicles of the SPACE SEGMENT and the communications links between the segments of the IRIDIUM SYSTEM. The SYSTEM CONTROL SEGMENT is composed of the SNOC (Satellite Network Operations Center), TTACs (Telemetry Tracking and Control Stations), MTC (Message Termination Controllers), ODN (Operational Data Network) and the OSN (Operational Support Network)
