Example Definitions of "Tax Detriment"
Tax Detriment. Means the Tax effect at the maximum applicable statutory Tax rate in effect under applicable law during the relevant year with respect to any increase in gain or income, reduction in deductions or loss or reduction of credit for Tax Items of the Controlled Group.
Tax Detriment. Means an amount by which the Tax liability of an Indemnified Party is increased (including by decreases in Tax refunds and credits).
Tax Detriment. Any amount by which the tax liability of UPH, UPOI, or the Company in any taxable year is actually increased by reason of an Adjustment Amount on a tax return for such year
