Transitional Benefit

Transitional Benefit. Shall mean a benefit intended to compensate an Eligible Employee for all or a portion of his or her Shortfall Amount through the crediting of Transitional Contributions to such person's Account for such number of years (or such other period) as the Committee shall determine at the time a Transitional Benefit is approved.
