Unit Appreciation Right. A contingent right granted under Section 6(c) hereof that entitles the holder to receive, in cash or Units, as determined by the Committee in its sole discretion, an amount equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value of a Unit on the exercise date of the Unit Appreciation Right (or another specified date) over the exercise price of the Unit Appreciation Right.
Unit Appreciation Right. Unit Appreciation Right. The right to receive a payment, in cash or in Units, equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value or other specified valuation of a specified number of Units on the date the unit appreciation right is exercised over a specified strike price, all as determined by the Committee.
Unit Appreciation Right. Or "UAR" means a contingent right that entitles the holder to receive the excess of the Fair Market Value of a Unit on the exercise date of the UAR over the exercise price of the UAR. Such excess value may take the form of Units or cash as determined by the Administrator.
