Year of Vesting Service
Year of Vesting Service. Each complete twelve-month period beginning on the date an employee becomes a Participant in the Plan and ending at the employee's death or Separation from Service or, if earlier, when the employee's participation in the Plan is discontinued by the Board of Directors. Partial years shall be disregarded.

Year of Vesting Service. Year of Vesting Service means each calendar year as a Participant in which the Participant completes at least 1,000 Hours of Service including all Hours of Service completed in the year in which an individual first becomes a Participant, regardless of whether earned before or after first becoming a Participant. For purposes of this Section 2.28, an "Hour of Service" shall have the meaning assigned to such term under the Washington Gas Light Company Employees' Pension Plan.
