Affiliate. Affiliate. A Person controlled by, controlling or under common control with another Person, and for this purpose, "control" means the power to vote a majority of the voting power of a Person or the possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of that Person, whether through the ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise.
