Example Definitions of "Early Retirement"
Early Retirement. That the Grantee's employment terminates in any of the following circumstances, and other than a termination of employment that constitutes a Normal Retirement or occurs in connection with a termination by the Company or a subsidiary for cause: (i) a termination of employment after the Grantee has attained age 55 with at least 10 years of service. (ii) a termination of employment by the Company or a subsidiary as part of a reduction in force and, at the time of such termination, the Grantee has... attained age 53 with at least 10 years of service. In deciding whether a termination of employment is an Early Retirement, the Administrator need not consider the definition under any other Company benefit plan

View Variations
Early Retirement. Unless otherwise defined in the applicable Award Agreement, the termination of a Participant from the employ or service of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or Affiliates at a time when the Participant would meet the age and service requirements for early retirement under the terms of the applicable Company pension plan.
Early Retirement. Early Retirement a director can retire prior to age 72 provided he/she has completed at least fifteen (15) years of service as a director.
