Example Definitions of "Hazardous Materials"
Hazardous Materials. Shall mean any pollutant, contaminant, hazardous or toxic substance, constituent or material and other wastes or other substances regulated under any Environmental Law and may include Product properly rejected pursuant to Section 4.12 hereof, but shall not include any other returned Product.
Hazardous Materials. The terms "Hazardous Materials" and "Hazardous Materials Laws" are defined in Paragraph 7.2E.
Hazardous Materials. Any substance defined as a "hazardous substance," "hazardous material," or "hazardous waste" in the Environmental Laws, and any other substance or compound prohibited or regulated under the Environmental Laws.
Hazardous Materials. Shall mean flammable materials, explosives, radioactive materials, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls, carcinogens, oil and other petroleum products, and any other hazardous or toxic materials, wastes and substances as defined under or regulated by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 9601, et seq., as amended, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, 42 U.S.C. Section 6901 et seq., as amended, Hazardous Material Transportation... Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 1801 et seq., and the regulations promulgated thereunder, and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations relating to the environment or to effluent wastes, toxic materials, hazardous materials and pollutants, or to the release, use, storage, treatment, transportation, manufacture, handling or disposal of such materials, wastes or substances. The term "release" shall mean any spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping, or disposing into the environment. Hazardous Materials. Any waste, substance, material, smoke, gas or particulate matter that: (i) is or contains asbestos, urea formaldehyde foam insulation, polychlorinated biphenyls, petroleum or petroleum-derived substances or wastes, radon gas or related materials, (ii) requires investigation, removal, regulation or remediation under any Environmental Law, or is defined, listed or identified as a "hazardous waste" or "hazardous substance" thereunder, or (iii) is toxic, explosive, corrosive, ... flammable, infectious, radioactive, carcinogenic, mutagenic, or otherwise hazardous or dangerous or is regulated by any Governmental Body or Environmental Law. Hazardous Materials. Hazardous Materials. Hazardous Materials.
