Participant

Participant. An individual or entity selected by the Committee to receive an Award pursuant to this Plan

Participant. Any Employee, Director or Consultant selected by the Administrator to receive Awards.

Participant. Those persons as may be designated by the Committee to participate in the Plan from time to time

Participant. A Participant was born on June 27, 1963, and started full-time employment with the Corporation on July 1, 1990, and works continuously as an Employee until a Termination on December 31, 2016. This Participant's full years of Service are 26 years and his or her attained age on the date of Termination is 53 years. The total is 79, so the Participant satisfies the Rule of 75.

Participant. Means individually or collectively, an employee, member of the Board or person affiliated with the Company or any of its Affiliates, who participates in the Plan.

Participant. A key employee to the Company who has been selected by the Administrator to receive a Retention Bonus pursuant to the Plan as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto.

Participant. An Eligible Executive participating in this Plan for a Performance Period as provided in Section 4(b)

Participant. An Eligible Employee who meets the eligibility requirements and other conditions of Section 3 hereof (including the timely execution and delivery of a Participation Agreement), until such time as the Eligible Employee's participation ceases in accordance with Section 3(c) hereof. Each Participant shall be either a "Level I Participant" or a "Level II Participant," as designated pursuant to Section 3(a) hereof

Participant. Shall mean the recipient of an Award granted under this Program.

Participant. Any employee or Outside Director of Markel or a Subsidiary who receives an Incentive Award under the Plan
