Example Definitions of "Patents"
Patents. Shall mean, collectively, (a) all patents and patent applications, (b) all reissues, divisions, continuations, renewals, extensions and continuations-in-part of all patents or patent applications and (c) all rights, now existing or hereafter coming into existence, (i) to all income, royalties, damages, and other payments (including in respect of all past, present and future infringements) now or hereafter due or payable under or with respect to any of the foregoing,... (ii) to sue for all past, present and future infringements with respect to any of the foregoing and (iii) otherwise accruing under or pertaining to any of the foregoing throughout the world, including all inventions and improvements described or discussed in all such patents and patent applications. Patents. Shall mean any patents which issue from a Patent Application.
Patents. Shall mean the patents set forth on Exhibit B, and any other patents or patent applications in the Territory owned or controlled by Inspire during the term of this Agreement that relate to the Compound or the Product, together with any patents that may issue therefor in the Territory, including any and all extensions, renewals, continuations, continuations-in- part, divisions, patents-of-additions, reissues, supplementary protection certificates or foreign counterparts of any of the foregoing.

(iv) *** in Canada entitled "Novel Vectors and Use Thereof for Capturing Target Genes"; and (v) *** in Japan entitled "Novel Vectors and Use Thereof for Capturing Target Genes" (all of the foregoing, collectively, the "Original Patents"); (b) all patents that have issued or in the future issue from such Original Patents and all present and future patents granted on patent applications filed in any part of the Territory which correspond or relate to any of the Original patents (including without limitation, utility and design patents, certificates of invention, invention disclosures and statutory invention registrations); (c) all present and future patents or patent applications which claim any Improvements, Inventions, or Information and Know-How, filed in any part of the Territory; and (d) all divisionals, continuations, continuations in part, supplemental disclosures, renewals, reissues and extensions to any of the foregoing in subparagraphs (a) through (c) above, together with any and all patent applications relating to any of them. Patents. Patents, patent applications, and patent disclosures, together with all reissuances, continuations, continuations-in-part, revisions, extensions, and reexaminations thereof.
