Severance

Severance. The termination of the Participant's Service, whether by reason of death, disability, or any other reason

Severance. As used in this Agreement, "Severance" shall mean an amount equal to twelve months of Plantinga's Base Salary (as that term is defined above), (the "Severance Period"). Severance. The aggregate director fees (retainer fees and meeting fees) paid to the Director's for the nine-month period immediately preceding the date of the Director's Separation from Service (or, if the Director's fees were reduced during the two-year period following the Change in Control, the Director's fees paid to the Director for the nine-month period immediately prior to the date of such reduction in fees)

Severance. Means termination of employment with the Company, and qualified for participation in and entitlement to benefits under the McKesson Corporation Severance Pay Plan, in accordance with the terms and conditions of such plan.

(1) the involuntary termination of the Eligible Employee's employment by the Employer, other than for Cause, death or Disability or (2) a termination of the Eligible Employee's employment by the Eligible Employee for Good Reason, in each case, during the Change in Control Protection Period; provided, however, that in each case the termination constitutes a separation from service within the meaning of Section 409A(a)(2)(A)(i) of the Code and Treasury Regulations thereunder
