Example Definitions of "Control"
Control. (and "Controlling" and "Controlled") shall mean possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct or cause the direction of management policies of such Entity through the ownership of voting securities or by contract.
Control. And its derivatives shall mean legal, beneficial or equitable ownership, directly or indirectly, of more than fifty percent (50%) of the outstanding voting capital stock (or other ownership interest, if not a corporation) of an entity, or actual managerial or operational control over such entity.
Control. Shall mean direct or indirect ownership of a majority of the voting equity securities of another entity, the ability to appoint a majority of the board of directors or similar governing body of such entity, or the ability, through contract or otherwise, to direct the management of such entity.
Control. Has, with respect to Deposit Accounts, Investment Property, Electronic Chattel Paper and Letter-of-Credit Rights, the respective meaning assigned to the term "control" in the Uniform Commercial Code. 2
Control. Shall have the meaning specified in Rule 12b-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
