Example Definitions of "Employee"
Employee. Any person employed by the Company or an Affiliate as determined pursuant to Code Section 3401(c) and the regulations thereunder. Mere service as a Director or payment of a director's fee by the Company or an Affiliate shall not be sufficient to constitute "employment" by the Company or an Affiliate.
Employee. Any person, including an officer, who is employed on a full-time or part-time basis by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries

Any person, including an officer (whether or not also a director) in the regular full-time employment of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, but excludes, in the case of an Incentive Stock Option, an employee of any Subsidiary that is not a subsidiary corporation of the Company as defined in Code Section 424(f)
Employee. An individual who renders services to the Company or to a Participating Subsidiary pursuant to an employment relationship with such employer. A person rendering services to the Company or to a Participating Subsidiary purportedly as an independent consultant or contractor, a leased employee or a temporary worker engaged through an employment agency shall not be an Employee for purposes of the Plan.

Employee. A common law employee of the Corporation, or of any member of the Controlled Group that the Committee authorizes to participate in the Plan. A person who is retained to render services pursuant to an agreement (with such person or any employee leasing or similar entity) that designates such person as an independent contractor or employee of a third party, shall not be considered an Employee even if subsequently determined to be a common law employee for any tax or other legal purpose
Employee. Any person employed by the Company as a common law employee on the United States payroll. It is expressly intended that persons not employed as common law employees on the Company's United States payroll are to be excluded from participation in the Plan, even if a court or administrative agency determines that such individuals are common law employees and not independent contractors.
Employee. Any person, including Officers and Directors, who is an employee of the Company or any Affiliate. An Employee shall not cease to be treated as an Employee in the case of (i) any leave of absence approved by the Company or (ii) transfers between locations of the Company or between the Company, any Affiliate, or any successor corporation. Neither service as a Director nor payment of a director's fee by the Company or any Affiliate shall be sufficient to constitute status as an Employee
