Example Definitions of "Prime Rate"
Prime Rate. Shall mean the prime rate of interest (the base rate on corporate loans) as published under "Money Rates" in The Wall Street Journal.
Prime Rate. Prime Rate means the Prime Rate as published in the Money Rates section of The Wall Street Journal. This definition of Prime Rate is to be strictly interpreted and is not intended to serve any purpose other than providing an index to determine the variable interest rate used herein. It is not the lowest rate at which Lender may make loans to any of its customers, either now or in the future.
Prime Rate. The per annum rate of interest established from time to time by Bank of America, or any successor, as its prime rate, which rate may not be the lowest rate of interest charged by Bank of America to its customers
Prime Rate. Means, for any day, the rate established by Issuer from time to time as its U.S. prime commercial lending rate (which rate does not necessarily represent the lowest rate of interest changed by Issuer to its borrowers but which rate shall be consistent with that charged to borrowers with credit ratings similar to Applicant).
Prime Rate. Means at any time the rate of interest most recently announced by Wells Fargo at its principal office as its Prime Rate, with the understanding that the Prime Rate is one of Wells Fargo's base rates, and serves as the basis upon which effective rates of interest are calculated for those loans making reference to it, and is evidenced by its recording in such internal publication or publications as Wells Fargo may designate. Prime Rate. The interest rate determined from time to time by the major US Banks and published in The Wall Street Journal on any given Day as the Prime Rate of interest

The publicly quoted basic rate of interest, from time to time published by First National Bank as being its prime overdraft rate, as certified by any manager of First National Bank whose appointment and designation it will not be necessary to prove, which certificate will serve as prima facie proof of said Prime Rate.
