Example Definitions of "Prime Rate"
Prime Rate. Means the average prime rate of interest per annum of the largest commercial banks as published by the Wall Street Journal from time to time.
Prime Rate. Means that rate announced by Bank from time to time as its prime rate and is one of several interest rate bases used by Bank. Bank lends at rates both above and below Bank's Prime Rate, and Company acknowledges that Bank's Prime Rate is not represented or intended to be the lowest or most favorable rate of interest offered by Bank. The rate of Bank's Prime Rate as that rate may change from time to time with changes to occur on the date Bank's Prime Rate changes.
Prime Rate. Means the prime rate as quoted in the Wall Street Journal (Eastern Edition) for the Business Day preceding the date on which such determination is made. If more than one rate is so quoted, the prime rate shall be the average of the rates so quoted.
Prime Rate. Means that rate of interest announced from time to time by Union Planters Bank, N.A. (or any financial institution which may succeed to the commercial lending business of Union Planters Bank, N.A.) as its prime rate, which rate shall change on the same date as the date of each change in said Prime Rate. The Prime Rate is a reference rate and does not necessarily represent the lowest or best rate actually charged to any customer. Prime Rate. Means that rate of interest reported daily in the Wall Street Journal as the Prime Rate. If the Lender abandons the use of the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate, or the paper ceases publishing it, the new index will be the prime commercial rate established or selected by the Lender.
Prime Rate. Means that rate of interest publicly announced, from time to time, in the Wall Street Journal.
Prime Rate. Shall mean the rate established from time to time by Bank as its prime rate of interest (which may not be the lowest, best or most favorable rate of interest which Bank may charge on loans to its customers).
