Improvement. An improvement to an invention claimed in the Patent Rights that, absent a license, cannot be practiced without infringing a Valid Claim. For avoidance of doubt, Improvement does not mean or include developments that are useful in practicing the Patent Rights, but which may be practiced, absent a license, without infringing a Valid Claim.
