Lien. Means any mortgage, pledge, assessment, security interest, lease, sublease, lien, adverse claim, levy, charge, option, right of others or restriction (whether on voting, sale, transfer, disposition or otherwise) or other encumbrance of any kind, whether imposed by agreement, understanding, law or equity, or any conditional sale contract, title retention contract or other contract to give or to refrain from giving any of the foregoing.
