Example Definitions of "Lien"
Lien. Shall mean any lien, pledge, mortgage, hypothecation, preemptive right, assignment, deposit arrangement, deed of trust, security interest, claim, lease, option, right of first refusal, easement, or preference, or other real estate declaration, priority or other security agreement or preferential arrangement of any kind or nature whatsoever, restriction or servitude, transfer restriction under any shareholder or similar agreement, encumbrance or any other restriction or limitation whatsoever.
Lien. Means any mortgage, pledge, lien, deed of trust, hypothecation, claim, security interest, title defect, encumbrance, burden, tax lien (as used in Section 6321 of the Code or similarly by any state, local or foreign tax authority), charge or other similar -4- restriction, title retention agreement, option, easement, covenant, encroachment or other adverse claim.
