Peer Group

Peer Group. SNL Index of publicly-traded banks and thrifts located in New England and Mid-Atlantic with assets of $1 billion to $5 billion (excluding institutions in Puerto Rico) as constituted at the end of the Performance Measurement Period or Shortened Performance Measurement Period, as applicable.

Peer Group. Means, as of the Grant Date, the nine (9) companies as listed in the chart below. Peer Group. The eleven companies (in addition to the Corporation) that are approved by the Compensation Committee of the Board and identified as peer companies at the time of grant of the Performance Units and which are still independent, publicly traded companies as of the last business day of the July 2011 – December 2012 Performance Cycle, or such other group of companies as selected by the Committee at its discretion

Peer Group. Means the companies set forth in the Company's proxy statement filed in December 2010. If between the Date of Grant and December 31, 2013, any member of the Peer Group ceases to be a public company with common stock listed for trading, then such member shall be removed from the Peer Group for any calculations related to this Agreement. Peer Group. In terms of mandatory adjustments to the Peer Group during the Performance Period: (i) if any member of the Peer Group files for bankruptcy... and/or liquidation, is operating under bankruptcy protection, or is delisted from its primary stock exchange because it fails to meet the exchange listing requirement, then such entity will remain in the Peer Group, but RTSR for the Performance Period will be calculated as if such entity achieved Total Shareholder Return placing it at the bottom (chronologically, if more than one such entity) of the Peer Group; (ii) if, by the last day of the Performance Period, any member of the Peer Group has been acquired and/or is no longer existing as a public company that is traded on its primary stock exchange (other than for the reasons as described in subsection (i) above), then such entity will not remain in the Peer Group and RTSR for the Performance Period will be calculated as if such entity had never been a member of the Peer Group; and (iii) except as otherwise described in subsection (i) and (ii) above, for purposes of this Statement of Management Objectives, for each of the members of the Peer Group, such entity shall be deemed to include any successor to all or substantially all of the primary business of such entity at end of the Performance Period.
