Example Definitions of "SAR"
SAR. A stock appreciation right granted to a Participant under the Plan and in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 7. A SAR may be either a "Tandem SAR" or an "Independent SAR," as defined in Section 7.
SAR. Means a stock appreciation right granted under Section 8 entitling the Participant to receive, with respect to each share of Common Stock encompassed by the exercise of such SAR, the excess of the Fair Market Value on the date of exercise over the SAR base price, subject to the terms of the Plan and any other terms and conditions established by the Administrator. References to "SARs" include both Related SARs and Freestanding SARs, unless the context requires otherwise.
SAR. The right to receive, in cash or in Common Stock, as determined by the Committee, the increase in the Fair Market Value of the Common Stock underlying the SAR from the date of grant to the date of exercise
SAR. A right to receive a payment, in cash or Common Stock, equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value or other specified valuation of a specified number of shares of Common Stock on the date the right is exercised over a specified strike price, in each case, as determined by the Committee
SAR. Shall mean, as the context requires, either the aggregate share appreciation rights granted to a Participant pursuant to the Plan or the unexercised portion thereof.
SAR. An Award that shall entitle the recipient to receive a payment equal to the appreciation in value of a stated number of shares of Common Stock from the price established in the Award to the market value of that number of shares of Common Stock on the date of exercise.
SAR. An Award, designated as a SAR, pursuant to the terms of Section 11 of this Plan
SAR. A stock appreciation right awarded to a Participant pursuant to the Plan and subject to the restrictions contained in Section 8. A SAR may be a Naked SAR or a Tandem SAR
SAR. A right, granted by the Company pursuant to this Plan, to receive a payment, in cash or Common Stock, equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value of a share of Common Stock on the date the right is exercised over the Fair Market Value of a share of Common Stock on the date of grant.
SAR. The right allowing a Grantee under Section 8 to elect to receive an amount equal to the appreciation in the Fair Market Value of Stock from the grant date to the exercise date, with payment to be made in cash or Stock as specified in the Award or determined by the Committee
