Example Definitions of "SAR"
SAR. The right pursuant to an Award granted under Section 7.1 to receive, upon exercise, an amount payable in cash or shares equal to the number of shares subject to the SAR that is being exercised multiplied by the excess of (a) the Fair Market Value of a share of Common Stock on the date the Award is exercised, over (b) the exercise price specified in the SAR Award Agreement
SAR. A "stock appreciation right" granted under this Plan entitling the holder to, upon exercise of such right, an amount in cash, shares of Common Stock, or a combination of cash and shares, equal in value to the product of (i) the excess, if any, of the Fair Market Value of one share of Common Stock over the exercise price of the applicable SAR, multiplied by (ii) the number of shares of Common Stock in respect of which the SAR has been exercised.
SAR. Or "Share Appreciation Right" means an Award that, upon exercise, entitles the holder to receive, in cash or Shares in the discretion of the Committee, the excess of the Fair Market Value of a Share on the exercise date over the exercise price established for such Share Appreciation Right.
SAR. Means an Award under the Plan that entitles the Participant to receive, in cash or shares of Stock, value equal to the excess of: (i) the Fair Market Value of a specified number of shares of Stock at the time of exercise over (ii) the Exercise Price of the SAR established by the Committee.
SAR. A stock appreciation right granted under the Plan entitling the Grantee to Shares or cash or a combination thereof, as measured by appreciation in the value of a Share.
SAR. An Award granted pursuant to Section 7, in an amount to be determined by the Board, that in accordance with the terms of an Award Agreement entitles the Holder to receive, with respect to each share of Common Stock encompassed by the exercise of such SAR, the excess, if any, of the Fair Market Value at the time of exercise over the Initial Value
SAR. A right entitling the holder upon exercise to receive an amount (payable in cash or in shares of Common Stock of equivalent value) equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value of the shares of Common Stock subject to the right over the base value from which appreciation under the SAR is to be measured
SAR. A stock appreciation right entitling the Grantee to Ordinary Shares or cash compensation, as determined by the Administrator and set forth in the applicable Award Agreement, measured by appreciation in the value of Ordinary Shares
