Example Definitions of "SAR"
SAR. A stock appreciation right, which is the right to receive a payment in cash or Shares equal to the amount of appreciation, if any, in the Fair Market Value of a Share from the date of grant of the right to the date of its payment, and which may be awarded to Eligible Individuals under Section 6.
SAR. A right granted pursuant to Section 5 to receive a percentage of the Spread upon exercise, and includes both Freestanding SARs and Related SARs
SAR. A stock appreciation right granted under this Plan in accordance with the terms of Section 7
SAR. A stock appreciation right entitling the Grantee to Shares measured by appreciation in the value of Common Stock
SAR. Shall mean a stock appreciation right with respect to one share of Common Stock granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 7 hereof, subject to the restrictions set forth in the Award Agreement.

SAR. An Award that shall entitle the recipient to receive, with respect to each share of Common Stock encompassed by the exercise of the SAR, a payment equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value on the date of exercise over the Fair Market Value on the date of grant.
