Example Definitions of "Disability"
Disability. A condition rendering a Participant Disabled. "Disabled" with respect to a particular Participant will have the same meaning as set forth in any long-term disability policy or program sponsored by the Company or any Subsidiary covering such Participant, as in effect as of the date of such determination, or if no such policy or program shall be in effect, "Disabled" will have the meaning as set forth in Section 22(e)(3) of the Code
Disability. A permanent and total disability as defined in the employer-sponsored long- term disability plan applicable to the Participant
Disability. Shall mean "disability" as defined in the Company's long term disability plan.
Disability. Disability as defined under the Pier 1 Imports long-term disability plan (regardless of whether the Executive is a participant under such plan).
Disability. Disability. Means, (a) for a Participant with an Agreement that defines 'disability' or a comparable term at the relevant time, the definition in such Agreement, and (b) for all other Participants, the Committee's good faith determination that the Participant is eligible (except for the waiting period) for permanent disability benefits under Title II of the Federal Social Security Act.

Disability.
