Example Definitions of "Prime Rate"
Prime Rate. Shall mean the Buyer's most recently announced "prime rate," even if it is not Buyer's lowest rate
Prime Rate. The prime rate of interest announced from time to time as the prime rate by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (or its successors or assigns); provided, that the parties acknowledge that the Prime Rate is not intended to be the lowest rate of interest charged by said bank in connection with extensions of credit
Prime Rate. The prime rate published by The Wall Street Journal, from time to time as its prime rate, whether or not such rate is the lowest or best rate quoted by such bank to its most creditworthy customers.
Prime Rate. The annual interest rate quoted publicly by The Bank of Nova Scotia as the reference rate of interest used for determining the interest rate it charges on commercial demand loans made in Canadian dollars, in Canada, and commonly known as such bank's prime rate, as adjusted from time to time
Prime Rate. Shall mean the prime rate of interest in effect on the first business day of the applicable calendar year as such rate is reported by the Wall Street Journal (or, if no longer reported by the Wall Street Journal, such other nationally recognized publication as selected by the Administrator).
Prime Rate. The variable per annum rate of interest so designated from time to time as the prime rate published in the Wall Street Journal as its prime rate. The determination and publication of such Prime Rate shall not in any way preclude or limit Bank from lending to certain borrowers from time to time at a rate of interest less than such Prime Rate.
Prime Rate. Means the interest rate which the Bank announces from time to time as its prime rate for commercial loans. The Prime Rate is a rate used by the Bank from time to time in setting interest rates on loans. It is not necessarily the lowest or best rate at which the Bank loans money. Any change in the interest rate shall become effective immediately upon a change in the Prime Rate and such changed interest rate shall become effective without notice from Bank.
Prime Rate. The rate of interest designated as the "Prime Rate" which appears in each publication of The Wall Street Journal under the designation entitled "Money Rates." This rate of interest fluctuates and is subject to change without prior notice. If and when the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate changes, the rate of interest on this Note will automatically change effective on the date of any such change, without notice to Borrower. In the event that the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate cannot be ascertained... from publication of The Wall Street Journal, the rate of interest which shall be used in substitution thereof and until such time as the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate can be ascertained by reference to The Wall Street Journal shall be a rate equal to the average of the prime rate of interest announced from time to time by three (3) New York banks selected by the Administrative Agent in its sole and absolute discretion. Prime Rate. At any time the rate of interest most recently announced within Bank at its principal office as its Prime Rate, with the understanding that the Prime Rate is one of Bank's base rates and serves as the basis upon which effective rates of interest are calculated for those loans making reference thereto, and is evidenced by the recording thereof after its announcement in such internal publication or publications as Bank may designate.
Prime Rate. Shall mean the rate from time to time published in the "Money Rates" section of The Wall Street Journal as being the "Prime Rate" (or, if more than one rate is published as the Prime Rate, then the highest of such rates).
