Disability

Disability. Executive's absence from Executive's duties with the Company on a full-time basis for 180 days during any consecutive twelve-month period as a result of incapacity due to mental or physical illness as determined by a physician selected by the Company and acceptable to Executive or by the company which administers the Company's long-term disability plan in which Executive is eligible to participate.

Disability. The term "disability" for all purposes of the Program shall mean the participant's disability as defined in subsection 4.1(a) of the Abbott Laboratories Extended Disability Plan for twelve (12) consecutive months.

Disability. The meaning set forth in the long-term disability plan maintained by Employer from time to time.

Disability. Awardee is permanently and totally disabled within the meaning of Section 422(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, which, as of the date hereof, shall mean that Awardee is unable to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of any medically determinable physical or mental impairment which can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months. Disability. Disability. Means a physical or mental infirmity because of which Employee is receiving benefits under the Company sponsored long-term disability plan in which the Employee participates.
