Permanent Disability

Example Definitions of "Permanent Disability"
Permanent Disability. Any physical, emotional or mental injury, illness or incapacity which would prevent the afflicted person from performing his obligations hereunder for more than ninety (90) consecutive days as determined by a licensed physician selected by us.
Permanent Disability. The Participant shall be considered to be "Permanently Disabled" if he would be treated as "disabled" in accordance with the provisions of Treas. Reg. ยง1.409A-3(i)(4).
Permanent Disability. Eligibility for long-term disability, worker's compensation or social security disability benefits, where the Employee is not expected to return to work in any occupation.
Permanent Disability. That a Participant has become permanently disabled under any policy of disability income insurance then in force covering employees of the Company.
Permanent Disability. A sickness or disability extending for more than three (3) consecutive months as a result of which the Participant is unable to perform his or her duties for the Company or an affiliate, as applicable, in the required and customary manner and that will continue for not less than an additional three (3) months, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion
Permanent Disability. Means a physical or mental condition which permanently renders the Executive incapable of exercising the duties and responsibilities of the position he held immediately prior to any Change of Control.
Permanent Disability. Termination of the Award Recipient's employment as a result of a physical or mental incapacity which substantially prevents the Award Recipient from performing his or her duties as an employee and that has continued for at least 180 days and can reasonably be expected to continue indefinitely. Any dispute as to whether or not the Award Recipient is disabled within the meaning of the preceding sentence shall be resolved by a physician selected by the Committee.
Permanent Disability. Your inability, by reason of any physical or mental injury or illness expected to result in death or to be of a continuous duration of six (6) months or more, to substantially perform the services required for your job title pursuant to this agreement.
Permanent Disability. Shall have the meaning set forth in the Grantee's Service Agreement
Permanent Disability. With respect to any Participant who is an employee of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, shall mean a permanent and total disability as defined in Code Section 22(e)(3).
