Example Definitions of "Stock"
Stock. The Corporation's Common Stock
Stock. Shall mean CVS Caremark Corporation Common Stock, or any other equity securities of the Company designated by the Committee.

Shall mean (x) with respect to corporations incorporated under the laws of the United States or any State or territory thereof or the District of Columbia (each, a "Domestic Corporation"), all of the issued and outstanding shares of capital stock of any Domestic Corporation at any time owned by any Pledgor and (y) with respect to corporations not Domestic Corporations (each, a "Foreign Corporation"), all of the issued and outstanding shares of capital stock of any Foreign Corporation at any... time owned by any Pledgor; provided that the term "Stock" shall not include any Stock in (x) a corporation that is not a Subsidiary of any Pledgor and (y) any other corporation set forth on Annex C (or any corporation acquired after the date hereof that the Pledgors indentify to the Collateral Agent in writing and to which the Collateral Agent does not reasonably object), to the extent (and only for so long as) the joint venture or other shareholder agreement for such other corporation or applicable law prohibits the assignment of, or granting of a security interest in, the Stock of such other corporation and such prohibitions are not rendered invalid by Section 9-406 or Section 9-408 of the UCC, it being understood and agreed, however, any such Stock excluded pursuant to preceding clause (y) shall otherwise be subject to the security interests created by this Agreement (and shall become "Stock" for all purposes of this Agreement) upon the receipt by such Pledgor of any necessary approvals or waivers permitting the assignment thereof or the granting of a security interest therein.
